Salman has a diversified experience of around 20 years in Energy Sector working with world’s leading Multinationals including SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC & GE (General Electric Inc. USA).

Salman started his career as Design Engineer (Energy Sector) after acquiring training from SIEMENS Germany in 2001. During his 10 years regime with SIEMENS he successively led various supply chain functions including Production, Quality, Sales & Marketing.

In 2011, Salman joined SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC as Head of Business Development for Pakistan & Afghanistan market. He developed new markets for Smart Grid Solutions business with TELVENT USA.

Salman joined GE in early 2013 as Country Business development Manager. In 2014, he became Country Director for Distributed Power business with full P&L responsibility for GE Gas Turbines & Reciprocating Engines (GE Jenbacher & Waukesha). With YOY increase of almost 20% + he achieved double growth of Sales in his 05 years.

He joined IMPERIAL GROUP as President & CEO for Middle East, South Africa & Pakistan on Aug 01, 2018 and he is based partly in Dubai & Lahore.

Imperial Group is in Pakistan since 1963 and currently operating in USA, UK, UAE, Africa & Pakistan and represents multi-faced lines of business broadly covering Building & Construction, Turnkey EPC Projects in Oil & Gas Sector, Commodity Trading, Leasing, and has been instrumental in many national level projects & initiatives in Public as well as Private Sector.

Imperial Group is also instrumental making equity investments as Venture Capitalist & placing mezzanine debt (BOOT /BOT basis) in diversified area. Salman has founded a new company called IIT (Imperial International Technology) which is working on developing a whole Eco system to take the E-COMM business in Pakistan to a next level & currently camping in Silicon Valley, CA, USA to sign key collaboration agreements with some of the leading Fintech companies & consultants.

He is an Electrical Engineer & MBA.
